• Johnson Central sophomore Shane Hall has picked up several schools showing interest since last weekend, including Wake Forest.
• Word is East Ridge junior Ray Kasongo might have landed a scholarship offer from DePaul after his play last weekend.
• Hamilton Heights (Ind.) junior Alex Etherington has picked up an offer from Kansas State. His brother, Austin, plays at Indiana.
• IUPUI coach Todd Howard has been busy, offering Wapahani (Ind.) sophomore Grant Evans and Brownsburg sophomore Jaraan Lands, who also has offers already from Indiana and Oklahoma State.
• Assumption freshman Nora Kiesler had 36 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocked shots to help Team Ohio beat Northern Italy in the Gioissa Basketball International Tournament in Rho, Italy. Another Assumption player, Katie Friedrich, had 20 points and 11 rebounds during the victory.
